The reason why people are focusing on his love life is because the poster framed his question in this way, and having a daughter was given as a supplemental detail. Whether or not he is (or wants) to be a father to his daughter is his own business. If the question was framed about whether or not to be a father to her, I think the answer would have been unanimously in favor of him re-establishing contact and making the best out of a bad situation.

The expressive thoughts of Christopher Hitchens
by thetrueone ini think hitchens had some very honest and redeemable thoughts about religion on how religion itself has effected humanity.
in the past and how it still despairingly effects humanity today.
worthy to listen to what he has to say, at least in my opinion.

Hitchens had some pretty good debate performances with Tony Blair awhile back. Even Blair himself was impressed.

Heidi will be alright. I'll pledge never to watch another football game in my life if I could have half of her fortune. They say money can't buy happiness, but "they" have never had to live from paycheck to paycheck. Kyle Williams and Billy Cundiff will do alright too. They'll be on a beach somewhere and smoking Cuban cigars while we all have to get up in the morning and go to work. LeBron was right. Haters can hate all they want, but we all got to get up the next day for work and get on with making a living.

In Pennsylvania, Paterno fulfilled his legal obligation to report this to superiors according to police. His superiors are in turn being charged for not reporting this to the police and keeping it within the college. I agree that Paterno as the head coach had a moral obligation to follow up on this and make sure it was handled correctly, and did not. I think they should just focus on the true culprits in this which is the disgusting wretch that is Jerry Sandusky and the university executives that for whatever reason thought it best not to do a thing about it. Joe Paterno deserved to lose his job for this, and it happened just that way. Now he's gone, and it's time for the living and the accused to account for this. Personally I would like to see Penn State put on NCAA probation and some of their millions directed to the victims. Oh, and Sandusky needs to get sodomized by an old broom handle, but I'd be willing to let his fellow inmates handle that one.

Is it biblically ok to have sex with your daughter or niece?
by Diest ini was hit by this topic after doing reaserch in the old testament.
there are eleven different sexual relationships that are directly condemed in the old testament.
strikingly your daugher and your niece are not listed.

Lot had relations with both his daughters and had children from both, while Abraham married his niece Sarai (Sarah) and later had Issac. In both cases, it was implied that both situations sprang from a serious shortage of suitable partners. Abraham was in pagan Ur, and Lot... well, was from Sodom. I'd venture to say that if you took the implication offered, it's OK only in extreme situations. The only suitable partner for Abraham happened to be his brother's daughter, while the only other righteous family around in the time of Lot was Abraham's, at which time he did not have any daughters to offer him.

Sounds like you have quite the emotional quandary. Now that the cat is out of the bag about you having feelings for your ex, you have to make do with a difficult choice. As my father often told me, some women might forgive, but none of them forget. Whether you realize it or not, there is now a emotional block between you and your girlfriend. Yes, you can go back to her and claim it is her that you choose, but the fact that it had to come to a choice between an ex-wife and her is not likely to be put in the back of anyone's mind. Nobody over the age of 16 ever wants to be on either side of a "choice". Being that you will still have contact with your ex-wife no matter how this turns out, it's going to create a conflict with your girlfriend who knows about the continuing emotional connections. The fact that you freely admit to these emotional connections with your ex is telling. There is something in her that you still desire.
On the flip side, there is some degree of permanency to a divorce. It's not a pleasant outcome by any means, and a lot of emotional baggage attached. Formerly divorced couples have been known to re-unite, but there is always an emotional minefield to go along with it. At one point neither of you wanted each other any more. That fact will never leave you. If your girlfriend didn't know about this at all, I would have advised you to stick with her and the route less cluttered with unpleasant feelings. Now you'll going to have to come to a decisive conclusion. Think about where you want to go with either mate. What future do you see? You only have one chance to make the right choice. Since none of us here know much about the personality characteristics of either party, you are a better expert than anyone else. The way you described both women makes them both sound appealing. If you do choose the ex, I would strongly advise you to make her split from the JWs a pre-requisite to any possible reunion. You don't need that in your life anymore. Good luck!

Nice stats, but without the awesome field position given to him on both muffed punts, he was still only directly responsible for 10 points. JaMarcus Russell could have taken the team to victory if given those two turnovers. I hate to blame it all on one person and two plays, but there's no way I can get past it. The Niners defense gave up ten points. Kyle Williams gave up the other ten at the worst possible moment. Game over.

Mubarak isn't looking so bad now, is he? I read an article about Egypt which was revealing. They have to import most of their food now, but back in the times of King Farouk in the 40's and 50's, they were a grain exporting nation. And this was before the creation of the Aswan High Dam which was supposed to provide more water for agriculture! The Farouk regime was corrupt to be sure, but the quality of life for Egyptians was so much better then as it is now. And now they have the US by the balls in that if the American government discontinues or in any way alters the billion or so dollars a year they get in military aid, the peace treaty with Israel gets ripped up. Lovely how we have to prop up regimes and bribe them just to keep the peace, which really wasn't and isn't a peace in the first place.

Whoever needed actual writing talent to write for the WT? CT Russell's ramblings were a bunch of millenialist fluff punctuated with time prophecies, the Judge's writings were tabloid style attacks on several different targets, and Freddy Franz had a writing syle better suited for a 1950's teenage version of Reader's Digest. Getting an A in High School English is probably the only qualification these current guys have.

Never thought I'd be rooting for the Partiots, but hey, so be it. Please do everyone a favor and expose Eli Manning for the mediocre talent that he is. He had very little to do with the victory last night. If it weren't for that first muffed punt, he would have never led the Giants past mid-field and it would have been Niners 17-10. Now everyone is annointing him as one of the best of all time. He got lucky against a clearly superior Patriots team in that last Super Bowl. Here's hoping they return the favor.
